About Manda Panda Creations
Manda Panda Creations began with a bag full of gemstones, several feet of sterling silver wire, and about $100 of assorted gemstone, glass and precious metal beads. After taking a class with some friends on wire-wrapping from a Native American artisan, I fell in love with the medium. Soon after, I incorporated wire-wrap pendants with beadwork to create jewelry uncommon to the market place.
After some prodding from friends, I became a 'bohemian bead girl', living a gypsy-like lifestyle creating one-of-a-kind artisan jewelry and traveling all over Ohio and the nearby states to arts & crafts fairs. The style of my creations naturally evolved into me specializing in custom design. This is still what I love most about my job: collaborating to create pieces that bring beautiful harmony of materials with the personalities of the ones who will wear them and truly be one-of-a-kind.
It's nearly twenty years since I wrapped my first pendant. So many things have changed: designs, techniques, materials used, how my jewelry is marketed, even my last name and title. I'm a now wife, a mother, and a business owner; but I remain forever a jewelry artisan, doing what I love: creating hand-crafted artisan jewelry with attention to detail, one piece at a time for people to cherish.
Warm Regards,
